Haosail classroom: how long does the lift need to be updated?


Car repair shop owner: my lift has been used for more than ten years. Is it safe? How long does the lift last? When does it need to be replaced?


At present, there is no very clear regulation on how long the lift needs to be updated. This depends on the use frequency, maintenance status, stability of the structure itself, use environment, etc. after evaluation, make a decision on whether to replace the lift.


We know that the regular maintenance of the lift is very important to prolong the service life of the lift. Among the users of evoyite lift, there are not a few who have carried out regular maintenance for ten years or more. The machine is still in good condition and can be used normally.


For the sake of safety, we still want to remind the users of the lift: referring to the relevant provisions on the design service life of the equipment and the scrapping life of construction machinery, the automobile lift has been used for 10 years, the main structure and bearing parts of the equipment are worn or fatigue deformed, and there are potential safety hazards. Although it has been repaired, its performance still can not meet the technical requirements and can not ensure safe production, And the repair cost is too high. It is recommended to update.


The lift must be replaced in case of the following conditions during use!


One shear lift replacement standard


1. Scissors arm


a. The support arm of the hoist is twisted and deformed, and the deformation is greater than 1.5mm;


b. The connecting hole of the lift arm is deformed or out of roundness, which is greater than 0.5mm than the initial hole size;


c. There is weld crack or crack on the weldment on the lifting arm. If the original size cannot be guaranteed by repair welding, it must be replaced.


d. Fatigue damage or deformation greater than 1mm occurs at the supporting part of the middle bearing part of the lift arm;


2. Safety gear and connector of scissor lift


a. The safety tooth lock of scissor lift cannot be fully engaged or the fit clearance after engagement is more than 1.5mm;


b. The safety connecting hole is worn, which is more than 1mm larger than the initial fit clearance;


c. The twist deformation of the upper safety connecting plate is more than 1.5mm;


d. The connection part of the weldment of the safety mechanism is cracked;


3. Supporting platform


a. The number of broken wires per twist pitch is up to 10;


b. The radial corrosion or wear of the steel wire of the steel wire rope reaches 30% of the original diameter;


c. Use for more than three years or more than 6000 times;


Replacement standard of two column lift


1. Replacement conditions of synchronous steel wire rope


a. The number of broken wires per twist pitch is up to 10;


b. The radial corrosion or wear of the steel wire of the steel wire rope reaches 30% of the original diameter;


c. Use for more than three years or more than 6000 times;


2. Column guide rail


a. 8-10 years of normal use;


b. The wear of the working surface of the column guide rail is up to 0.5mm;


c. The deformation of the column causes the increase of the fit gap, resulting in the forward inclination of the sliding table and the sagging of the supporting arm;


d. Column weld crack or bending crack;


3. Corbel


a. The sagging deformation of the bracket shall not be greater than 1 degree;


b. It has been in normal use for 8-10 years;


c. Crack or tear occurs at the front end of the bracket square tube;


d. The connecting hole between the support arm and the pin shaft is deformed, and the matching clearance is up to 1mm;


4. Safety lock


a. The bearing part of the safety hook is worn or deformed;


b. The safety hook has been used continuously for more than 5 years;


c. The fuse cannot reset or bite the locking teeth;


5. Wire rope axle sleeve


a. The wear causes the clearance between shaft and shaft sleeve to be greater than 1mm;


b. Cracks on the working surface;


c. Uneven wear of wheel groove reaches 3mm;


Car repair shop owner: I'll be clear once I sort it out. I have to go back and check my lift, otherwise, there will be a safety accident, but it will be a big trouble.
