Air compressor type selection

We all know that the air compressor reservoir can play a role in regulating pressure, and the selected tank pressure must be greater than the pressure of the air compressor, so is it the bigger the better?

The small capacity of the air storage tank is easy to cause frequent loading and unloading of the air compressor, which will shorten the service life of the air compressor, increase the risk of failure, which is not conducive to energy saving and increase the operating cost.

The selection of large gas storage tanks can indeed solve the problem of frequent loading and unloading of air compressors, but the energy consumption of large-capacity gas storage tanks will increase compared with small-capacity ones, and the economy is poor.

According to the actual demand and the model of the air compressor, the size of the gas storage tank is selected. In general, in the case that the air compressor displacement can meet the production needs, the configured air storage tank is generally not less than 30% of the air compressor displacement, nor higher than 50% of the air compressor displacement, for the best capacity configuration. This can not only meet the needs of production, but also achieve the purpose of energy saving to the greatest extent.
