SDS-Plus Light Hammer

Electric hammer is a kind of electric rotary hammer drill with safety clutch and pneumatic hammer mechanism. The electric hammer uses the principle of piston movement to impact the drill bit with compressed gas. It can open 6-100mm holes on hard materials such as concrete, brick, stone and so on without much force of hand. The electric hammer has high efficiency in opening holes on the above materials, but it cannot open holes on metal. 

Electric hammers generally distinguish between light and heavy. The simplest differences are as follows

1) Look at the direction of the motor. Generally, the vertical one is heavy and the horizontal one is light

2) Structurally, the light hammer uses an inclined bearing (commonly known as swing rod bearing) to drive the piston, and the heavy hammer uses the crankshaft to drive the piston

3) Although the power of light electric hammer may be larger than that of heavy electric hammer, the impact efficiency of heavy electric hammer is much higher

4) The light electric hammer is generally not more than 3kg, and the maximum drilling capacity is generally less than 28mm

5) Heavy electric hammer is generally more than 3kg, and the maximum drilling capacity is generally more than 25mm

6) Because of the problem of light structure, it is mainly used for household, decoration and other occasions with small workload; Heavy duty, relatively durable, suitable for occasions with large dosage
