Electric hammer is a widely used electric tool. On the basis of the electric drill, the electric hammer adds a piston with a crankshaft connecting rod driven by the motor to compress air back and forth in a cylinder, so that the air pressure in the cylinder changes periodically. The changed air pressure drives the hammer in the cylinder to hit the top of the drill bit back and forth, which is equivalent to knocking the drill bit with a hammer. Hence the name electric hammer [1].

Electric hammer is a kind of electric drill, which is mainly used to drill holes in concrete, floor slab, brick wall and stone. It is specialized in drilling holes on the wall, concrete and stone. There is also a multi-functional electric hammer. It can be adjusted to an appropriate position and equipped with an appropriate drill to replace ordinary electric drills and pickaxes.

Because the drill bit of the electric hammer rotates and also produces rapid reciprocating motion (frequent impact) along the direction of the electric drill rod, it can quickly punch holes in brittle cement concrete, stone and other materials. Precautions for use of electric hammer 

1. Check before operation: a. the shell and handle shall not be cracked or damaged; B. the cable cord and plug shall be intact, the switch shall operate normally, and the protective zero connection shall be correct, firm and reliable; C. All protective covers shall be complete and firm, and the electrical protection device shall be reliable.

2. After the machine is started, it shall operate without load, and check and confirm that the machine linkage is flexible and unimpeded. During operation, the applied force shall be stable, and excessive force is not allowed.

3. During the operation, the handle of electric hammer shall be mastered. When drilling, the drill bit shall be propped against the working surface of special-shaped rivet first, and then it shall be started with moderate force to avoid shaking; if the rotation speed drops sharply, the force shall be reduced to prevent the motor from overloading, and it is strictly prohibited to carry the pressure with wood.

4. When drilling, pay attention to avoid the reinforcement in the concrete.

5. Electric hammers shall be 40% intermittent working system and shall not be used continuously for a long time.

6. When the operation aperture is more than 25 mm, there shall be a stable operation platform and guardrails around.

7. Overload is strictly prohibited. Pay attention to the sound and temperature rise during the operation, and stop the machine for inspection in case of any abnormality. When the operation time is too long and the temperature rise of the machine tool exceeds 60 ° C, the machine should be shut down and the operation should be carried out after natural cooling.

8. During operation, it is not allowed to touch the electric hammer's electric saw tools, molds and grinding wheels by hand. If it is found that they are blunt or damaged, it shall be stopped immediately for repair or replacement, and then continue to work
